    Cecilia began working in the veterinary field 12 years ago as an assistant in a small animal hospital in San Antonio, Texas. She graduated from Bel-Rea Institute of Animal Technology and passed her VTNE in 2004. Cecilia has worked in small animal hospitals around the Denver Metro area, the last one being VCA Firehouse-Capitol Hill. Cecilia has volunteered for CACVT over the past 4 years which included many hours in the office. She has held the offices of President, Nominating Committee Chair, Membership Committee Chair and National Veterinary Week Task Force Leader. She is currently enrolled in the University of Phoenix, obtaining a Bachelors in Business with a concentration in management. As administrator, she will advocate for the profession in general as well as direct the development of association services for the membership and promote and oversee volunteerism.

    Wendy is a Certified Association Executive with over 12 + years of experience in the leadership of non-profit membership associations. Like us, she has taken classes in the best practices in Association Management,she sat for and passed a certification exam,and obtains 30 CE’s to maintain her certification. Her background includes being a Convention Director, she has experience in data base management, association marketing and has managed budgets and finances. Wendy has also been successful in growing the operating revenue in associations and enjoys collaborating with the Board of Directors, Committees, Members and Sponsors. Her desire to use her Association skills to further the success of an organization she believes in is what attracted her to CACVT.  Wendy recognizes the current strength in our Association and the potential for a bright future.
