If you are a current CACVT member, there are only 3 things you need to do.

NOTE: You do not have to be logged in or even be signed up under the members only area to submit CE or renew.

1) CE

Submit your CE for 2008 to 2010. If you have already done so, skip this step.

If not, you may do so by visiting www.cacvt.com/cesubmitform

  • Visit www.cacvt.com/guidelines to determine if CE is technical or supportive. NOTE: new guidelines do NOT go into effect until July 1, 2010. 
  • You do NOT have to wait for the CE to be approved before renewing your CVT status. If something is not approved, you will have time to make it up. 
  • Please note: due to a large volume of CE currently being submitted, notices are taking about 4 weeks to process. Hang onto your CE until you receive confirmation (mostly by e-mail). 

 

2) Application form

One will be mailed to you shortly (in the mail 6/16 and 6/17). However, if you would like to continue now, you may either fill out a form electronically, or print it out and mail / fax it in.

 

3) Payment

The standard Active CVT category is $124 / 2 years. However, there are other categories. See the application form for details.

  • You can pay by check or money order - make payable to CACVT.
  • You can pay by credit card (through Paypal - you do not have to be a member).

 

NOTE:  There is a three month grace period. So there are no additional fees or consequences if you don't renew before October 1, 2010. After October 1, 2010, you will not be considered a CVT in good standing until you renew. There will be an additional $25 reinstatement fee. However, you do not need to retest if you reapply within a suitable window of time.
