CACVT believes that once a veterinary technician graduates from school, takes the national exam, and becomes certified, the learning has just begun. As it states in the Veterinary Technician Oath, "... and furthering my knowledge and competence through a commitment to lifelong learning."
The goal of taking continuing education (CE) is to enhance the knowledge and professional image of individuals. If we want to enhance our profession, we need to regularly elevate the level of continuing education (CE) we obtain. So take ownership of your professional responsibility for learning and enhance your understanding and improve your career. There is a plethora of CE courses available. Find something that is right for you!
