There are many general articles concerning pet behavior. It is important that you recognize that animals, especially dogs, require training.

Behavioral issues are one of the biggest reasons why animals are euthanized.

If you are experiencing behavior problems with your animal, especially if the animal is fairly new to your household, you should first seek a full exam of your pet by a veterinarian. Medical conditions should be ruled out first as a source for behavioral issues.

If health issues aren't a problem, then you may want to ask about behavior training. Ask your veterinary health care team for suggestions and local resources.
