Example of a 1/8 page ad ABC Veterinary Clinic
InvoiceThe advertiser will be invoiced once the ad has run. Please provide a mailing address and contact person. Ads will be accepted on a first-come basis; the number printed will depend on space availability; placement is at the discretion of the Newsletter Managing Editor.
Deadlines and DistributionCACVT reserves the right to refuse any ad. While every attempt will be made to run your ad, because of limited space in the newsletter, ads will be taken on a first come, first serve basis.
The deadline is around the 17th of the preceding month. The newsletter is distributed on even months on the first of the month (for e-mail delivery) and during the first week of the month (for hard copy). Please contact the office for the exact deadline date and for the current distribution numbers.
A disclaimer will be included to the effect that advertisement in the newsletter does not mean that CACVT endorses the company. Also, CACVT will not be responsible for any follow-up concerning the ad or the information contained in it. Any direct contact information should be included in the ad.
Guidelines:
1. All advertisements must be related to the field of veterinary medicine and/or healthcare. Homeopathy, chiropractic and acupuncture may be included, as long as licensure is verified, and any state regulations are complied with. Ads for massage therapy are also acceptable.
2. Ads for pet food products must be sold to veterinary clinics (this does not include general maintenance-type formulas, but rather prescription-type diets or products not typically found "over-the-counter").
3. Events occurring outside the clinic such as pet walk-a-thons, pet adoption fairs, fundraisers (especially by not-for-profit organizations), etc. This could also include disaster relief education and events.
4. Any continuing education events.
5. Help wanted ads limited to those associated with veterinary medicine or related areas of interest.
6. No advertisements concerning animal rights or activism will be accepted. We are supporters of animal welfare and feel that animal rights information conflicts with our views about the information contained in our publication.
For any questions about advertisement, or to place an ad, please contact the CACVT office. Thank you for your support of the veterinary technicians and best of luck to you.
